Privacy

What we collect

• Your email address, when you create an account.
• The things you make in the app — characters, encounters, and custom items.
• Basic, privacy-respecting usage data (for example, that a page was visited or a character was created) so we can see what's working and what isn't. We don't build advertising profiles.

Using it without an account

You can use Pyrelight without signing up — the app gives you a guest session so your work can be saved. Guest data is tied to that session in your browser. If you want it to follow you across devices, or to be safe if you clear your browser, create an account and your guest work carries over.

Where it lives

Your account and data are stored with Supabase (database and authentication), and the site is hosted on Vercel. Both are standard, reputable providers. A session token is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone except the providers above that are needed to run the service.

Your control

Your characters are exportable any time — the sheet downloads as a PDF — and you can delete characters, encounters, and items from within the app. To delete your account and everything tied to it, email us and we'll take care of it.
